Moon Unit formed in early 2011 as Luna Dance Fusion’s deliciously dynamic daughter troupe. Incorporating Luna’s signature Improvisational Tribal Style of Belly Dance in their performances, as well as signature choreography, these ladies know how to deliver a captivating performance experience. Always striving to stretch their artistic vision, they have developed a tantalizing Luna Sword I.T.S. vocabulary in collaboration with Saskia.
Moon Unit has performed extensively, performance highlights include Luna’s annual multi-disciplinary GlitterBall, and the Edmonton Fringe Festival.
